Happy Saturday! It’s beautiful here in NJ, and time is ticking down on leaving for the Bahamas. Time is also ticking closer to Ethan’s book releasing. You see hints of Ethan in Privately… and some more in Barrett All. But you’re going to LOVE the youngest Barrett in all his glory. He’s such a spiderweb of a character that he’s been difficult to write, but the reward has been well-worth it. I’m in love with how he turned out, and he’s so different from his brothers that he’s the perfect way to finish out the series.
As the Barrett Brothers wind down, we’ll be jumping head first into Briar, where we meet a wealthy single father scorned in the past by love but playing nice with his ex, Lynette, for the sake of their son. Name familiar? That’s right. It’s that Lynette’s ex. We’re also going to spend some time with Marsh, Luke Barrett’s long-time wingman, and everyone’s favorite nurse and sweetheart.
There are a ton of things cooking on my author stovetop, but I promise lots more this year and beyond. I hope you loved the Barrett Brothers so far. I know I enjoyed writing them!
Barrett All has been out ONE WEEK already. Crazy, right? It feels like I was figuring out the title yesterday! I love the tattooed, potty-mouthed hunk… especially with his calamari comparisons…
Did you get down and dirty with one of Briar’s filthiest secrets? A secret that’s only beginning the unwind. Barrett All is also the in-depth introduction to Briar, Maine, the setting of a future series following the town. These Barrett Boys are just a taste of this cozy coastal town. Make sure you check out Privately and Barrett All. Ethan’s book is right around the corner!
Lover. Liar. Cheat. Criminal.
He left me on the hook for his sins.
I haven’t thought of him since the day I said: “I do.”
But life has a funny way of unearthing your deepest, darkest desire.
And mine just happens to be him.
That’s right; my latest baby will be out for the world tomorrow on Amazon!
This is my heart story, ya’ll. Luke has been on my mind since I created the Barrett Brothers. His grit. That potty mouth. The muscles. The tattoos. The heart in there somewhere. I hope you love him as much as I do!
ARCs have been issued for Barrett All and reviews are trickling in! Ahh! I’m so excited for you all to get to know Luke & Josie’s story. This one has been pulling at me from the start of the Barrett Brothers Series, and I hope you love it as much as I love my Luke!
You also get to be up close and personal with Briar, Maine, the setting for a future series. A few characters you meet in Barrett All have their own stories to tell, but as always, every story I write can be read as a standalone if you choose.
Barrett All, coming July 19th. Available for preorder now.
I can’t believe it’s already July 3! Jesus Christmas, where is this year going??? It feels like just yesterday I was working on Privately. Now I’m getting ready to release Book #2, Barrett All, and have the third installment in the works! And two side projects! AH! I must be nuts, right?
Now that you’ve had a taste of Jason and Luke is so close you can touch him, I’m ecstatic to bring you Ethan. To bring you more Briar. To bring you a gritty MMA romance. I have so many ideas, but there are only so many hours in the day. I promise you’ll be seeing A LOT of me, and I can’t wait to see more of ya’ll too.
If you haven’t already, add/like me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for day-to-day updates. I’ve also signed up for MeWe to try something new. I love memes, gifs, and takeovers, so join the party!
Cover Reveal! Barrett All is coming July 19 and available for preorder here!
Josie Roberts. She taught me how to love. She taught me how to hate. She burst into my heart as abruptly as she left. I’ve spent eleven years wondering why until she showed up all these years later. Still bright. Still beautiful. Still the only woman I’d loved. * * * Luke Barrett. Lover. Liar. Cheat. Criminal. He left me on the hook for his sins. I haven’t thought of him since the day I said: “I do.” But life has a funny way of unearthing your deepest, darkest desire. And mine just happens to be him.
I wanted to take a step back from Luke’s story which is wrapping up to say: did ya’ll know I’m getting MARRIED in two months? How friggin crazy is that? If you don’t know, Panda and I have been together six years next month, and he’s the man behind the fairytales.
We aren’t doing the big, elaborate party with a bajillion guests. I loathe being the center of attention, so we’re marrying on a beach in the Bahamas with just the two of us present. While other little girls dreamed of horse-drawn carriages and ballgowns for their big day, I was totally indifferent. Still am. All I knew was that I wanted to marry my person my way, and I found a love that couldn’t agree more.
Since I write so much here about my writing, I figured it’d be cool to give ya’ll the scoop on the behind the scenes stuff. Obviously KB is a pen name (my given name is Kelsey), and there’s a human behind the screen typing away. So if you’re looking for me during the week of August 16th, I’ll be hanging out with a drink in the sand somewhere, probably trying to pet an animal that doesn’t want to be petted. If you want to stay in the loop and maybe see some cool pictures, follow my page or add me on Facebook.
